By my fourth sugar daddy party, I was accustomed to the weirdness that goes on at these events.

Since there are 10+ sugar babies to every sugar daddy, there were a lot of single women awkwardly waiting for someone to talk to them. Most sugar babies leave with each other, and most sugar daddies leave with a young woman for adult activities, probably in exchange for a few hundred dollars. Sometimes they would leave with one sugar baby and come back to the party to grab a second.

At this party there was one gay sugar daddy, and we had gay male sugar babies lined up to meet him. Only he found someone in the first hour of the party and left. The male sugar babies were not having it. I felt bad, but we weren’t guaranteeing a sugar daddy, that was up to them. Which is why many get discouraged and quit before ever reaping any real benefits, and after getting played one too many times. For more on gay sugar culture, check out my podcast.
